10 Signs You Need To Love Yourself More
We spend so much time loving those around us, that so often we forget to love ourselves. We de-value ourselves in our pursuit of ensuring those around us are.
It’s not an overnight decision or process to put ourselves last on our list, it is a slow slide into feeling less than. A journey that drains us of energy and the ability to see it for ourselves. It takes someone else to point it out to us, that we have put ourselves in the energy of lack.
So often it is such a gradual slide, we become numb and often feel depressed, resorting to popping ‘happy pills’ to add to that numbness. An attempt to avoid a truth, an ugly truth, that there is just not enough love to go round. We are now sat in a third lockdown, and reports are out that women are being hit harder than ever by the expectation that life has placed upon them but what is more damaging for mental health, are the expectations we place upon ourselves.
