Soul Mate or Twin Flame?

As a Spiritual Coach, I do carry out readings on Soul Paths and Relationship Soul paths. Seem random? Well, there was a time I would have said yes, but as we are all here to clear our karmic debts, to bring light into the world, to heal and to get back to love, it makes sense to me that we would connect with life partners who will assist us to do just that, to heal!

This is why we now have a number of partners in life and not just one like your Great Granny did! Though I confess, the thought of one strong, loving relationship does appeal.

We have all watched movies, where they run towards each other on the beach, falling in love with their soulmate that they have waited all their lives to meet.

But is that your soul mate?

So often I am asked if someone is their soul mate, or their twin flame. There is a lot of confusion about the definition of these two styles of relationships, so let me explain.

A soul mate can indeed be a romantic connection and a soul mate relationship is one where you ‘get each other’, there is an almost instant understanding and comfortability as if you have known each other for years. It is not limited to romantic connections though, this can be friends, work colleagues and even pets! Where there is a deep bond, a deep connection and that feeling of safety as you are understood.
