All of the speakers and our superstar sponsor Black Nova Designs are passionate about mental health. For me personally, I am someone who many moons ago, spent many a dark night giving thought to ending it all, that’s why when clients come to me because they are in that dark place I get it! Imagine though if you didn’t have a ‘me, a Sam’? Someone you can confide in with no fear of judgement. I also worked with several families who had unfortunately lost a loved one to suicide because the loneliness of lockdown, the isolation was too much to bear.

During and after the first lockdown I found myself working with a number of clients, all women, who were the victim of domestic violence and needed help stepping out of the situations they were in. They came to me because they knew they needed to get their mindset right, their heads in the right place as they got ready to leave.
